Managing Payment Methods
At Right Servers Inc., we want to make managing your payments easy and convenient. This article will guide you through the process of viewing, adding, updating, and removing payment methods in our client portal.
Viewing Saved Payment Methods
To view your saved payment methods:
- Log in to the client portal.
- Go to Billing → Payment Methods.
Adding a New Credit/Debit Card
To add a new credit or debit card:
- Log in to the client portal.
- Go to the "Payment Methods" section.
- Click on the "Add New Card" button.
- Enter your card details, including card number, expiry date, and security code.
- Click "Save" to add the new card.
Updating an Existing Card
To update an existing credit or debit card:
- Log in to the client portal.
- Go to the "Payment Methods" section.
- Find the card you want to update and click on the edit icon next to it.
- Update the required information, such as expiry date or address.
- Click "Save" to apply the changes.
Removing a Payment Method
To remove a payment method:
- Log in to the client portal.
- Go to the "Payment Methods" section.
- Find the card you want to remove and click on the delete icon next to it.
- Confirm that you want to remove the payment method.
Setting a Default Payment Method
To set a default payment method for automatic payments:
- Log in to the client portal.
- Go to the "Payment Methods" section.
- Find the card you want to set as default and click on the edit icon next to it.
- Check the box that says "Make this my default payment method".
- Click "Save" to apply the changes.
Linking Your PayPal Account
If you prefer to use PayPal for recurring payments, follow these steps:
- Log in to the client portal.
- Go to the "Payment Methods" section.
- Click on the "Add PayPal" button.
- You will be redirected to PayPal's website to authorize the connection.
- Once authorized, your PayPal account will be linked and available for recurring payments.
Why Keep a Valid Payment Method On File?
Keeping a valid payment method on file is crucial to prevent service interruptions. If your payment method fails or expires, we may not be able to process automatic payments, which could result in service disruptions.
Payment Security
At Right Servers, we take payment security seriously. We do not store full card details on our servers. Instead, your card information is processed securely by our trusted payment processor, ensuring that your sensitive data remains protected.
