The System section in your RightClaw dashboard gives you a clear view of your virtual machines and their current status. This is where you monitor health, manage resources, and take action when needed.

Viewing Your VMs

Each virtual machine appears as a card showing its name, status indicator, and key resource usage. The status indicator uses color coding: green for running, yellow for degraded, and red for offline. Resource meters display current CPU, RAM, and disk utilization at a glance.

Expanding a VM Card

Click any VM card to expand it and reveal detailed information, including:

  • CPU usage: Current load percentage and core count
  • Memory: RAM allocated versus used
  • Disk: NVMe storage capacity and consumption
  • Uptime: How long the VM has been continuously running
  • Service logs: Recent system and application log entries

Action Buttons

Each expanded VM card provides several action buttons:

Health Check

Runs a diagnostic check on the VM, verifying that essential services are responding and resources are within normal parameters. The results display inline so you can spot issues quickly.

Restart Service

Restarts the RightClaw service on the selected VM without rebooting the entire machine. This is useful when the service becomes unresponsive but the VM itself is healthy. The restart typically completes within 30 seconds.

Reboot VM

Performs a full virtual machine reboot. A confirmation warning appears before the action executes, reminding you that active processes will be interrupted. Use this only when a service restart does not resolve the issue. The VM typically returns to a running state within two minutes.

Service Logs

The expanded view includes recent log entries from the RightClaw service. Logs show timestamps, severity levels, and messages. This helps you identify patterns or pinpoint when an issue began. If you need extended log history, contact support@rightservers.com.

When to Use Each Action

  • Health Check: First step when something seems off — no disruption to running services
  • Restart Service: When the RightClaw service is unresponsive but the VM is otherwise healthy
  • Reboot VM: Last resort when a service restart does not resolve the problem

If problems persist after a reboot, contact support at support@rightservers.com for further assistance.
