Using the Skills Library
The Skills section of your RightClaw dashboard at dash.rightclaw.ai is where you browse, enable, and manage the capabilities your AI agents can use. Skills are modular instructions that tell an agent how to perform a specific task — from drafting emails to analyzing data to managing projects.
Accessing the Skills Library
- Log in to the RightClaw dashboard.
- Click Skills in the sidebar navigation.
Skills are organized by category with a search bar for quick lookup.
Browsing Available Skills
Each skill card shows:
- Skill name — a short, descriptive title
- Description — a summary of what the skill does and when to use it
- Status — whether the skill is enabled or disabled for your agents
Click any skill to view its full description and usage examples.
Enabling and Disabling Skills
Toggle a skill on or off with a single click. When enabled, your agents can use that skill in conversations. When disabled, the skill is ignored. Disabling unused skills keeps agent responses focused and predictable.
Preset Skills by Plan
The number of pre-built skills available depends on your plan:
- Basic plan — 8 one-click preset skills covering common tasks like summarization, email drafting, and web search
- Pro plan — 129 preset skills spanning productivity, analysis, content creation, project management, development, and more
- Enterprise plan — all Pro skills plus custom skill development
Preset skills are ready to use immediately — just click enable.
Creating Your Own Skills
- Click Create Skill in the Skills section.
- Enter a descriptive name.
- Write the skill instructions — the prompt that tells your agent how to behave when the skill is activated.
- Save and enable the skill for your agents.
Custom skills are powerful for repeatable processes unique to your business — formatting reports, following a brand voice, or interacting with internal tools.
