Tracking Token Usage and Costs
The Costs section of your RightClaw dashboard at dash.rightclaw.ai gives you full visibility into how your AI agents are consuming tokens and accumulating costs across connected models.
Accessing the Costs Section
- Log in to the RightClaw dashboard.
- Click Costs in the sidebar navigation.
Summary Cards
At the top of the page, summary cards provide an at-a-glance overview:
- Total Cost — aggregate cost in USD for the selected period
- Total Sessions — number of agent sessions recorded
- Input Tokens — total tokens consumed in prompts
- Output Tokens — total tokens generated by models
Period Filtering
Use the period selector to choose the time window:
- 24h — last 24 hours
- 7d — last 7 days
- 30d — last 30 days
- All — all available historical data
Breaking Down Costs
- By Model — see costs and token usage per AI model, helping you identify which models drive spend
- By Agent — view costs per individual agent, useful when multiple agents share the same model
Charts and Tables
The Costs page includes bar charts showing token consumption or cost over time, pie charts for proportional distribution across models or agents, and breakdown tables listing each model or agent with its cost, input tokens, output tokens, and session count. Per-model pricing is displayed so you can see the rate applied.
How Costs Work
RightClaw uses a bring-your-own-key model. You connect your own API key from your preferred LLM provider. The costs shown reflect actual session usage — real token consumption from your conversations and automations. You pay the LLM provider directly. RightClaw does not add a markup. Use this data to monitor spending, compare models, and optimize configurations.
