Monitoring Activity and Logs
The Activity section of your RightClaw dashboard at dash.rightclaw.ai provides a chronological log of everything happening on your OpenClaw instance. It is your primary tool for auditing actions, troubleshooting issues, and reviewing what your agents have done.
Accessing the Activity Log
- Log in to the RightClaw dashboard.
- Click Activity in the sidebar navigation.
Events appear in reverse chronological order, with the most recent at the top.
What the Activity Log Shows
Each entry includes:
- Timestamp — the date and time the event occurred
- Action type — the category of event (agent message, file operation, terminal command, cron execution, settings change)
- Agent — which agent or system component performed the action
- Details — a summary of what happened
Filtering the Activity Log
With hundreds of events per day, filtering helps you find what you need quickly.
- By date range — narrow results to a specific period, useful for correlating events with an issue
- By action type — see only one category, such as terminal commands or file operations
- By agent — isolate actions from a specific agent when troubleshooting behavior
Terminal Command History
Commands executed through the dashboard's Terminal feature are logged in the Activity section. Each entry shows the command, target VM, and timestamp, creating an audit trail for all shell operations performed via the dashboard.
Retention Period
Activity logs are retained for 90 days. Events older than 90 days are automatically purged. If you need long-term audit records, export relevant entries before they expire. For assistance, contact support@rightservers.com.
